Explore the numerous hiking and cycling trails of the Meerdaal forest and Heverleebos

known for its gastronomy, regional beers and countless events throughout the year.

Walking

The Meerdaalwoud and Heverleebos together form the largest deciduous forest in Flanders. Fauna and flora thrive here. Observe and listen to the countless bird species. And who knows, you might catch a glimpse of a deer, fox or wild boar ...

Cycling

Easily accessible cycling routes run through the woods (to and from junctions 77, 78, 79, 81, 82 and 90) and you can also go mountain biking on separate tracks.

Our B&B lies on 2 iconic cycle routes of Tourism Flanders: the Hilly Route and the Flanders Route.

Horse riding

If you would like to go out into nature with your horse, we can put you in touch with a small riding school for stabling.

City visit to Leuven

The university city of Leuven is 20 minutes by bike. Admire the town hall, St. Peter's Church and the University Library. Take a break at the Oude Markt. Visit one of the breweries, including that of Stella Artois. Museum M Leuven is home to a wealth of old and contemporary art. Other attractions are the Groot Begijnhof, the Botanic Garden and the innovative Vaartkom.

Leuven is also a nice shopping city.

City visit to Brussels

The European capital can be reached by car or public transport in 30 to 45 minutes. Some well-known attractions: the Grand Place, Manneken Pis, the Atomium, the shopping arcade Les Galeries Royales Saint Hubert, the Arc de Triomphe. eB! (experienceBrussels!) is a great way to get to know the city.
